i absolutely agree with jeff hawkins. intellect is better measured by prediction than behavior. But then wouldn’t prediction of emotions also be a factor? Isn’t common sense what gives us the ability to make simple predictions. If you made a left down a street to get where you need to get then naturally you will again make the left. Machines cannot have common sense. They can learn certain things in certain situations but can they apply that knowledge in different situations?
